Teacher/Student Softball GameCalling all fifth graders! Get ready to play the teachers in the annual Teacher/Student Softball Game. This year's game will be played on June 2nd at 1:00. Practice your throwing, catching, and batting because this year could be the year that the fifth graders win! Not everybody needs to play. We will need some of you to cheer your classmates on. So, make a poster, practice a cheer, or help a friend get ready for the game. Don't delay! You only have about a month before the big game.

Valentine's Cards
Mrs. Nunez will be hosting a Valentine's card exchange on February 12. She will be bringing in specially designed envelopes for all of our students. If you would like to participate, please bring a card for everyone. We currently have 30 students in our class, but it is always a good idea to bring a few extra. Be creative and make your own cards or buy some from the store. Remember, they don't have to be fancy. It's the thought that counts.
Valentine's DanceThe Valentine dance will be held in the MPR on Thursday, February 12 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. "Sweet Treats" and beverages will be available for purchase. All items will be sold for $1.00. Students should RSVP as soon as possible to secure their entrance into the dance. Space is limited.

Movie NightMarathon MileWe have all been training hard for our Strawberry Run event. However, all training and no racing can get a little boring. So, we have decided to enter the Marathon Mile race at Legoland. Please ask your parents for permission to attend. The race will take place on January 17, 2015. This is a Saturday, so your parents will probably have to take you to Legoland for the event. There is a possibility that we will be able to meet at school and take a bus together if enough people sign up. Discuss this with your parents and be ready to share your decision in class. Click the link for more information about the race.
Marathon Mile Sign UpClick the google form below to inform Mr. Doyle if you are participating in the Marathon Mile event.
Holiday CheerWe will be having a hot chocolate bar in our class on December 19 after lunch. Mrs. Nunez, one of our parent volunteers, will stop by and set it up for us. Come enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and a cookie. We will also play holiday songs on our flutophones and go caroling with the third graders. Wear red and be ready to have a great time! Diego |
